Project Ideas for Peace Fleece DK
With the recent restock of Peace Fleece DK, we wanted to highlight patterns written for DK from our archives, as well as a few we’ve come across online or through word of mouth. The newest shades added to our DK line open up so many new options for knitting and crochet projects. We hope you find something here that you may not have seen before – enjoy!
When planning your project, keep in mind that Peace Fleece DK is now put up in 50g skeins, with 175 yards per skein. We recommend double-checking the specified yardage listed in a pattern, especially those that call specifically for Peace Fleece DK in the former 4oz put-up.

We've added soft blues and greens, and more grey options to DK, perfect for any of the single-color sweaters above, or a combination of them all for the Lane pullover.
Negotiation Grey, Anna's Grasshopper, Volgassippi Blue, Antarctic White, and Zarya Fog
Elsewhere in the knitting world, we've gathered a few ideas from designers we admire. These DK weight sweaters are calling to us:

Comforting knit-purl textures, fluffy ribbing, eye-catching colorwork yokes, and cozy stockinette wardrobe staples — all work up beautifully in our woolen-spun DK, with a soft halo effect from the mohair adding a final special touch.
For smaller projects, these neck accessories would be snuggly and warm in Peace Fleece DK:

We're loving this subtle, low-contrast pairing for patterns using more than one color:
Latvian Lavender and Desert Tundra
Irresistible sheep motifs, a little twisted texture – these two hats make our hearts sing:
And these crochet projects have us dropping our knitting needles like hot potatoes:

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. DK is one of the most versatile weights to work with, hitting a sweet spot for many a maker—not too heavy, not too fine, but just right, covering the more variable swaths of our seasonal calendars.
We are overjoyed to welcome the newest colors to Peace Fleece DK, and we hope you’ll find fresh inspiration in these dyed-in-the-wool shades!
